Q. Can babies relate to music at such a young age?

The simple answer to this is YES! Babies are making sense of the world long before they can talk, and can even hear your voice and other noises whilst in the womb (so be careful of what music you are listening too during pregnancy!). Singing songs and playing music will help encourage a babies early learning and brain development and by 12 months your baby will already recognise their favourite tunes!
